The ponytail is everyone’s favorite hairstyle. It’s easy, simple and keeps your hair out of your face.

How to:

Step 1: Gather all your hair to the back of your head

Step 2: Using a brush, brush your hair back for a clean look

Step 3: Use your hair tie to tie up your hair

The slicked back bun is my personal favorite. It helps keep your hair out of your face and off of your back at all times. It’s similar to a ponytail but with a few extra steps.

How to:

Step 1: Gather all your hair to the back of your head

Step 2: Using a brush, brush your hair back for a clean look

Step 3: Use your hair tie to tie up your hair

Step 4: Twist your hair

Step 5: Now with that same twist, twist it into a circle on top of where you tied your ponytail

Step 6: Secure it with as many hair ties as you need for it to feel comfortable and secure

Step 7: Use some hair spray or gel to slick back any stray hairs

Here is a way to spice up your ponytail. It’ll add a sleek vibe to your look and keep your hair off your face and neck way better than a regular ponytail.

Chole Mercedes, an up and coming gym influencer, said,“ I love braids, and pony tails are simple so why not combine the two and make it a cuter look. It’s also something very simple to do and it keeps my hair out of my face.”

How to:

Step 1: Gather all your hair to the back of your head

Step 2: Using a brush, brush your hair back for a clean look

Step 3: Use your hair tie to tie up your hair to your head

This is for the curly hair queen. You can never go wrong with a pineapple hairstyle. It’s a great way to protect curls and keep hair out of your face, all while looking cute during your workouts. Some advice is to keep a lightweight edge control in your gym bag to lay your edges if you want to sharpen the look once you’re done.

How to:

Step 1: Flip your head upside down

Step 2: Grab your hair like a ponytail but on the top of your head

Step 3: Flip your head up and put it through the hair tie

Step 4: Grab the pony from the back and pull it through your hair tie, but only half way

Step 5: Pull at it to make it into your desire look

Can’t get enough braids? Well, french braids are another option for you to try, They work for long and short hair, and even if you have bangs.

Mercedes said, “This is probably my favorite hair style. It helps keep my curls protected and my hair still looks put together even after the gym.”

How to:

Step 1: Split your hair down the middle

Step 2: From the front, grab a good amount of hair

Step 3: Section it into three pieces

Step 4: Start braiding the hair and pick up pieces of hair along the way

Step 5: Secure the end of your hair with  a small elastic

Step 6: Do the same thing to the other side
