Baking can especially be frustrating if you do not have much experience under your belt. Look no further though. This apple pie recipe is foolproof, and non-bakers won’t feel overwhelmed by a long list of ingredients or overly complicated directions.

The Easiest Apple Pie Recipe

Equipment:

  • Pastry Brush
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Cutting Board
  • Knife
  • Vegetable Peeler

Crust Egg Wash:

  • Premade dough
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Teaspoon water
  • 1 Teaspoon cinnamon sugar

Filling:

  • 6 Cups of apple slices or 6 medium apples (½ Granny Smith and ½ Pink Lady)
  • 1 ½ Teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 1 Teaspoon Allspice
  • 1 Teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 Tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¾ Cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ Teaspoon salt
